Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are committed to providing the highest quality care while offering exceptional value. Our treatment pricing is designed with the goal of maximizing your results. By focusing on personalized, one-hour sessions, our providers can achieve treatment goals more efficiently, often in fewer sessions compared to traditional outpatient therapy settings, where providers typically see 2-4 patients per hour.

Additionally, our flexible direct-pay model eliminates the need for a prescription from your doctor to begin treatment or schedule a consultation. This streamlined process reduces wait times for care, allowing you to access the treatments you need promptly.

For patients with insurance coverage, many have high-deductible plans, often with deductibles of $2,500 or more. Typically, physical therapy clinics bill insurance at an average rate of $250 per session, which patients are required to pay out-of-pocket until their deductible is met. Our direct-pay model offers a cost-effective alternative, often lowering your overall out-of-pocket expenses for physical therapy treatment.

  • We accept HSA & FSA cards, all major credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, cash, or check.

As a small business, where possible, we greatly appreciate the use of Venmo, Zelle, or cash as our preferred form of payment to save on processing fees.

  • Payment for all treatment is due at the time of service. If desired, our providers will provide you with an invoice (super bill) that can be submitted to your insurance, but a MD referral will be needed in this case. Most private insurance plans offer “out-of-network” reimbursement or deductibles.  While we cannot guarantee reimbursement by your insurance provider, we will provide you with the resources necessary to request reimbursement for our services.

Please note, if you are a Medicare beneficiary, you can only seek private pay physical therapy treatment for services not covered by Medicare. You cannot submit our superbills for reimbursement to either Medicare or secondary insurance.  If you are looking for Medicare-covered services, we would be happy to refer you to a Medicare-enrolled provider.

  • No referral needed when you pay directly.

At Renewed Strength Physical Therapy, our direct-pay model means you can start treatment right away—no doctor’s referral or prescription required. This allows you to get the care you need, when you need it, without waiting on insurance approvals or extra appointments.

If you plan to submit for insurance reimbursement (as an out-of-network claim), your insurance provider may require a referral—so it’s a good idea to check with your plan.

We’re always happy to walk you through your options. Just reach out if you have questions!

  • If you have a Medicare Insurance Plan, you may only seek physical therapy treatment through a direct-pay practice like Renewed Strength for services not covered by medicare such as prevention, wellness, and fitness.  Call or text us today with questions on how we can help you with any of these goals!

You cannot submit our superbills for reimbursement to either Medicare or secondary insurance.  If you are looking for Medicare-covered services, we would be happy to refer you to a Medicare-enrolled provider.

Renewed Strength Therapy does not have a relationship with Medicare, and thus does not bill Medicare for any reason.

Pricing & Payment

  • The full treatment session is spent with one of our doctors. No techs, assistants, double-bookings.  Our standard treatment sessions are 45-50 minutes.

  • The number of visits needed depends on your condition, goals, and activity level. Most patients benefit from a structured treatment plan that allows us to fully address the root cause of the issue and build lasting strength and mobility.

For this reason, we offer three structured programs:

    • Mobility Tune-Up (4 visits) – ideal for mild pain, stiffness, or preventative care

    • Desk Reset Program (8 visits) – designed for posture and desk-related pain

    • Weekend Warrior Recovery (12 visits) – designed for active individuals recovering from injury and returning to sports or exercise

Your physical therapist will recommend the best option after your initial consultation.

  • Most patients choose one of our structured recovery programs based on their goals, activity level, and the type of pain or injury they are experiencing.

Weekend Warrior Recovery – 12 Visits
Designed for active adults who want to return to sports, workouts, and recreational activities without pain or recurring injury. This program focuses on restoring mobility, rebuilding strength, and improving movement mechanics so you can confidently return to activities like golf, running, pickleball, tennis, strength training, or CrossFit.

Desk Reset Program – 8 Visits
Created for professionals who spend long hours sitting and are experiencing neck, back, or posture-related pain. Treatment focuses on correcting the movement patterns and mobility restrictions that commonly develop from desk work.

    Mobility Tune-Up – 4 Visits
A shorter program designed for people experiencing mild pain, stiffness, or mobility limitations. This program focuses on improving flexibility, joint mobility, and muscle balance before small issues turn into larger injuries.

If you are unsure which program is right for you, many patients start with a Single Visit Consultation. During this visit your physical therapist will evaluate your condition and recommend the best program based on your goals and timeline.

  • No, you do not need to purchase any equipment for treatment sessions.  The physical therapist will bring all of the equipment they need to the visit.  Your physical therapist may recommend equipment for use at-home for exercises outside of treatment sessions, however it is never required. Your provider will create the treatment plan with your available equipment in mind.

  • At your first visit, your physical therapist will discuss your physical therapy concerns and medical history with you, perform tests and measures to assess physical function, and discuss a recommended plan of care for continued physical therapy treatment based on your goals and desired timeline.

At any subsequent visits, your sessions will follow the treatment plan agreed upon by you and your physical therapist. Most visits include a component of manual therapy (hands-on, direct care), guided progression of exercise specific to your condition, and a review of your home exercise plan and any questions you may have. Your physical therapist will work directly with you for the entire session.
